The Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) successfully commenced the NAPE Summer School 2026 today at Peninsula Hotel and Suites, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, with an impressive turnout of participants from across the geoscience, energy, and related professional communities.
The opening session featured remarks from the NAPE President, Mrs. Olajumoke Cecilia Ajayi, FNAPE, and the President-Elect, Dr. Anthony Ofoma, FNAPE, FNMGS. The training, which ran from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, was highly interactive, with participants actively engaging throughout the sessions. The programme concluded with a course review, participant takeaways, and an extensive question-and-answer session with the instructor, providing an opportunity for participants to seek further clarification and connect the technical discussions with practical industry applications.
